Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 – Sacred Valley of the Incas and Trip to Aguas Calientes
Exploration in Pisac
We will begin our service with pick-up from your hotel to head towards the impressive Sacred Valley. Our first stop will be in Pisac, where we will visit its famous craft market located in the main square and surrounding streets, a place full of shops that sell authentic local crafts. Then, we will ascend to the archaeological center of Pisac, an impressive Inca city built on the basis of figurative traces of animals.
Lunch in Urubamba and Ollantaytambo Fortress
We will continue the journey to Urubamba, where a delicious buffet lunch will await you so you can enjoy the varied local food. With renewed energy, we will visit Ollantaytambo, an immense Inca military, religious and agricultural center.
Train Travel
At the end of the visit in Ollantaytambo, at approximately 4:00 p.m., we will board the train to Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival at the station, our agency staff will be waiting for you to transfer you to your hotel. Once installed, the guide will give you all the details and instructions about the next day's tour.
Day 2 – Tour to the Citadel of Machu Picchu and Return to Cusco
Ascent to the Wonder of the World
The day will begin with pickup at your hotel to go to the bus station, from where we will make the ascent to the entrance of the Machu Picchu citadel.
Guided Tour and Free Time
We will begin a fascinating guided tour of Machu Picchu for approximately 2 hours, exploring the temples and most important areas of the site. After the guided tour, you will have free time to continue exploring the Sanctuary at your own pace, take photographs and enjoy the landscape.
Return to Cusco
Later, we will go down by bus to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you will have time for an optional lunch (not included). The return to Cusco will be according to the chosen train schedule. You must be at the Aguas Calientes station at least 30 minutes before to board the train to Ollantaytambo. There, our mobility will wait for you for the safe return to the city of Cusco and transfer to your hotel.

If on your free days you plan to add the City Tour Cusco to your itinerary, keep in mind that this same ticket is valid to visit the spectacular ruins of Cusco such as Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puka Pukara (Pucapucara) and Tambomachay. Also, remember that for the City Tour in Cusco you must bring or purchase separately entrance tickets to The Cathedral and the Qorikancha (Coricancha) in the historic center of Cusco.
